Pam Veasey executive producer, who also wrote this episode said she was looking to "tell a story without dialogue, and Greenday's music and lyrics beautifully accompanied the visuals making it a very special episode."
The scene in question from the episode is one with Lindsay (Anna Belknap) at a political meet of a politician (Neal McDonough) as an attempt is made on his life. This could turn out to be very effective and striking in terms of visual storyline, a shame then it will be used in a scene with Lindsay! As you know she is not one of my favourite characters.
Greenday were ecstatic, as songs from their yet to be released albums Greenday !DOS! and Greenday !TRE! will also feature. They said, "it's the first time something like this has been on the series, and we are blown away with what we've seen." Music used in this episode: Stop When the Red Lights Flash, Amy, The Forgotten, Kill the DJ.
Is it too late to say, "Wake me up when September Ends..." Or infact it's rather timely seeing as it's October!
