Ghost Adventures "Territorial Enterprise"

This episode investigates the Territorial Enterprise building where Mark Twain worked.  The new owner says something is affecting people there.  Built 1876 and was the home of the weekly publication the Territorial Enterprise known as a "flamboyant" paper as Zak describes it.  The owner had been told to be careful when restoring the building.   He says there's a portal where the printing plates were sent up, so he was told.  Also Mark Twain's original desk is still there.  Zak feels a "weird connection to Mark Twain."  The owner also found remains in the building when he bought it.  A mummy was discovered and no one told him.  EMF readings show 18 milligauss.  Upstairs Zak is affected by fear when he reaches the top of the stairs.  Sandy, a psychic stands on the fifth step where she doesn't like it and wants to move.  In 2000 she says people were pushed on the stairs and negative energy in the building.  Books flew towards them.  

They find the Knights of Pythias building as someone told them about the hauntings there.  Built in 1876 this was the first structure in Nevada belonging to the Knights.  Akin to the Freemasons, new members are initiated and have to come across a skeleton in an open coffin, blindfolded.  Tom was thrown out of the ladies room by some force.  Child spirits are also present.  Disembodied voices are heard.  I heard some kind of voice when they ask if anyone heard it.  Zak describes how the experiences are similar at both buildings.  

Billy shows the evidence and they hear four different voices and they all sound like children.  All having vocal tone.  A little girl sounds like she's saying, "I touched the glass."  In response to Aaron asking if she broke the glass.  One of them says "Aaron Goodwin."  Seven more EVPs were caught.  The voice they say they reacted to doesn't sound like "kill" but "hear it."  At 16.09.  Particularly as they said they heard a voice and it could be repeating what they say or asking if they heard it.  It's two words, not one.  

Billy and Aaron open the locked door underneath the boardwalk.  They don't find anything there.  Billy captures a figure on the SLS as Aaron sits at the desk in the Enterprise building and he misses it as he's talking to the camera.  They don't get any other figures there.  Billy and Aaron hear the Ovilus say        "Dispose" "Lift" from the mummified body.  The X camera captures a groaning sound from upstairs.  A voice says "I'm trapped."  They both become agitated.  The IR light on the X camera starts flashing.  Billy uses the Paranormal Puck 2 and "sit" comes through.  "Person" wants to talk.  "Malevolent."  Billy: "who said Aaron's name?"  "Crystal."  "Burn."  "Ceiling."  Tom said the building caught fire and the ceiling fell in and killed people.

A light anomaly is caught in the Knight ballroom. As Zak does EVPs on the first floor.  Voice 2 sounds like "get back." ??  Seems they don't like the restoration.   Another anomaly is seen.  The last part of voice 6 says "I need help."  When Zak asks "what is in this building?"  Does it say "terror or horror"?? Zak puts the recorder down on the chair and gets more voices.  Voice 8: "it was over..."                   Voice 9 "get out...hide"??   Zak is afraid in this building.  Trying to get upstairs Jay hears a noise and Zak says it feels like they shouldn't be there.  One voice is heard: they think says "pray for" and Jay sees a ball of light.  The light goes towards Jay's hand.  Zak feels the voices he captured led to a negative attachment following him home and stayed for around 3 days.  

As Zak said earlier in the ep, the experiences at the two buildings appear to be similar.  In which case getting the EVP asking for help, as I heard, makes sense since Aaron and Billy also caught the "I'm trapped" voice at the Enterprise building.  Also did the attachment go with Zak as it was curious or was it cos there was something/someone there caught or being held there and it wanted to see if they got it out.  

Ghost Adventures "Haunting in the Hills"

What is it with these houses and red lights, a bit like his museum. 

Hollywood Hills again with GA and Zak speaks of a different kind of energy being here.  A castle house owned by Holly Madison who bought this house 9 years ago, built in 1926.  She has been plagued by unexplained occurrences and a year and a half ago she saw things began to be more intense.  She heard noises after she bought the house.  Sounds of falling objects and her door burst open during the night and still she sleeps there and lives in that house.  Especially considering who knows what could happen next.  She's also heard voices and people standing behind her and thought it was an intruder, at first.  She had a seance with Patti Negri, as well as her friend Bridget.  Her door dead bolted during the seance.  Didn't the activity got more intense due to the seance.  What was the point of doing that with everything that was going on anyway as she says it was just for fun.  May as well have brought out the Ouija board.

Bridget saw a shadow across the room and heard scuffling.  Patti mentions one spirit of a man who lived here and didn't want to leave.  As well as liking antiques.   Dr Joseph Reese lived in the house and he collected antiques and sold such in an estate sale.  Their researcher found a clipping from a newspaper advertizing the sale.  Patti describe his personality as "hot and cold."  Zak mentions his own collection and people touching his stuff which he hates.  Holly became angry and felt emotions not her own.  Zak thinks the hill is alive with something.  Patti says there's a vortex here.  Krotona  Institute of Theosophy built a compound down the hill in 1912, and he thinks they could've been compelled by this vortex.  

Holly has encountered one of these creatures she describes as akin to Gollum in Lord of the Rings.  She tells Bridget about the demon-like creature but not them, which Zak overhears.  Gerardo Morales. her gardener heard the same growl.  Zak uses the Trifield meter as Zak talks to Reese and the meter spikes.  It jumps again when he asks if he's in front of Holly.  He asks for a noise and they hear something upstairs like a thud.  A light flickers in the ceiling, was this due to what Zak just asked.  It flickers again.  They leave cameras behind in the house.

Zak believes there are portals throughout the Hills.  Jay is sent to investigate outside in the mountains.  Leaving him out on his own again as in the Saltair ep.  Of course anyone could've been out there, not just animals or a spirit, but human.  Zak uses the SLS and doesn't get anything.  That house was horrible though, I wouldn't live there, haunted or not.  Not just cos of the creepy vibe but generally it was small and ugly.  More footsteps are heard upstairs.  The seance was for fun, and part of the ceiling fell down the day after.  

Aaron uses the spirit portal device without success.  He tries to adjust the device and the paranormal puck 2 says "adjust."  Zak uses the Direct Link and another noise is heard upstairs.  Aaron gets cold and Billy says it's the top of the stairs where the action is.  Zak enters the back bedroom and feels something different.  Sits on the floor and feels ice cold in front of him.  He spots some form of a dark mass in front of him which is picked up on the camera.  It's in front of the dresser.  Billy sees it on the camera.  Aaron snaps Polaroids but nothing is caught.  Zak uses the Polterpod and feels a static charge on the top of his head.  A female voice is heard: "who's arrived finally"??  "Where is it?"  "Gently" ??  Or something similar, have to listen again. 

Asks where it is: "staircase."   Likens upstairs to a portal.  In the basement Aaron uses the paranormal puck and asks where most of his antiques were from: where "England Stuff Constant" comes through.  Billy enters the second bedroom and says he was stopped from going in by some energy before and the static sensor lights up.  The lights illuminated left to right.   

Jay sees a light on the hill and climbs up.  It vanishes.  He sets trap cams around the area and an X cam as well as a thermal camera.  A bobcat goes past Holly's house and appears to be tracking Jay, who feels as if he's being stalked.  Jay calls Zak and tells him he's hurt after something jumped up on him.  He was doing a parabolic session and he seems to jump at something and rolls down the hill, a long way down.  He hurts his leg and he falls dangerously close to the cliff edge.  He saw something dark moving towards him.  His leg catches in a tree and prevents him from falling off.  Did he fall or was he pushed and was what happened meant to stop them from investigating further as they did just this  

3am is Devil's hour not witch's hour, thought Zak would've said that seeing as he's into his demons.  They play back the recording to Holly and hear something in the kitchen.  They capture some banging from downstairs, sounded like something falling, was it in the kitchen though, as it sounded like utensils being thrown.  They also play her the wood creaking floor and the voices.  Movement she says is in the staircase area as she hears or sees something everytime she sets the alarm when she leaves.  Thought Zak was all into helping everyone and not just "someone we know [an ex] and a "friend in need."  Don't think everyone would be helped out unless it was something that stood out in the haunting.  Didn't much like this ep, all they did was just confirm her house was haunted, now what??  The Haunted Hollywood ep was far more interesting and yes it was already known the Hills are haunted.

Ghost Adventures "Terror at the Toy Shop"

 

Anticlimactic ep of GA, at least for me, after I kinda got excited about a toy store but it was more a costume store and toys that went with that.   Zak mentions how they were called in to investigate here so this ep was different from the norm.  As in the past they have helped out other families, such as calling in exorcists.  This building has a dark force which is impacting all the employees at Hollywood Toy and Costume.  In 1930 a five-a-dime-store opened at 6600 Hollywood blvd.  I said it wasn't 666.  In 1991 there was a fire and was taken over by the homeless and drug addicts.  1995 the current owner moved in.  Frank says he was being attacked many times.  One was on the stairs and he almost fell when he felt like he was being pushed from behind.  Zak feels it go ice cold when he's speaking with Frank.  He put holy water on the devil's mask and they found the mask on the floor.  Thus Zak surmizes that the spirits are evil.

A lot of poltergeist activity which could have been that or not. With the arrows falling out after Zak asked them to. As well as the staff being terrorized by a shadow figure it appears. Were they calling out for attention or mischevious spirits. Though the place has a very dark history after there was a fire three times.  As well as it being frequented by the homeless. Being told of deaths on the property where the floor couldn’t be seen due to the litany of DBs. Were those deaths classed as homicides, suspicious or just junkies with an addiction. 

Troy shows them CCTV of many captures.  Everything was covered by after the fire and he tells them that bodies were left below.  As well as the manager showing them footage of a book or file flying or being thrown off a shelf.  Poltergeist activity was cited but what if it's a spirit you just couldn’t see.  CCTV footage shows the glass breaking or being broken behind a cabinet as though something was trying to get out, was released or again was it just vying for attention. 

 

Billy and Aaron photograph a dark figure behind some shelves where something was moving.  As Frank said he saw something dark walking behind the shelves after boxes had been moved. As well as someone breathing behind him.  Some light anomalies around Aaron when he, Billy and Jay sat round the table using a new paranormal energy puck device, was seen three times around him; why Aaron and a stick figure was also captured by Jay on the SLS which was also near Aaron.  The spirit on the portal device doesn't say "I'm dead" sounds like something different like "I'm in" or "come in."  A female says "bishop"??  Jay said they didn't have any last rites so this makes sense, unless it's a name.  Yeah can imagine Zak "prowling" after spirits"  HA.

Zak gets "hook 'em."  He gets a female voice saying "take care of me."  Not "green" after he asks "what colour are you wearing?"  A box is moved upstairs which all three of them hear.  Zak concludes they will keep on monitoring the store to gather more evidence, why the spirits are here and the existence of an afterlife.  But by now that an afterlife exists, would thin we need to know what happens in that life and where they are exactly?  

Ghost Adventures "The Great Saltair Curse"

 The Great Salt Lake, Utah.  Where "the echoes of the past" reached out to Zak to investigate here.  He feels like being isolated and the waters are "mysterious" as not much can live.  The Saltair is a venue in its third "reincarnation" and is a venue for events.  The Saltair underwent three fires and the venue was burnt down in the '70's.  Seen in the film Carnival of Souls.  There was a third attempt when the Saltair was taken over by the waters.  Today is a music venue.  Maile tells him about Saltair Sally whose remains were found there.  There were other bodies discovered in the general area of the property.  She talks of the green room and here she hears voices and the temperature drops.  He feels aggression and she describes the same.  Zak gets a red area on his arm, which gets darker, were they scratches, two.  Jay notices an anomaly by Zak and it enters the Ladies.  But heck man why there, it wasn't Saltair Sally of course.  He mentioned her, but he didn't say if she haunts the area or the building??  They hear a voice but I didn't hear anything.  Jay mentions the myth about the lake where water babies lure people into the water to meet their demise.  but they're not children.

The staircase where Vincent fell down.  He says he was pushed and his eyes look large and protruding.  The Ovilus turned on and he couldn't stop himself from falling.  Billy sees an illumination in the window which is caught on camera.  Zak calls it a 'figure'.  Zak sends Billy inside.  Brandon, the manager, has seen a lot of hauntings.  He mentions seeing a child and when they went outside there was nothing there.  Billy uses the Polterpod and captures voices.  Aaron thinks the mist on the Polaroid photos is changing shape.   Which Zak leaves as "unexplained."  

There does appear to a face on the right.  But what about on the left where there seems to be an actual real life-like face??!!

Downstairs Billy captures "Vincent" on the Polterpod.  When they play back the voices to Zak when he says for the viewers to decipher what they're saying:

I hear "go with us" but could be "adventures."

"We can get a fix."

Jay takes the cart of equipment to the edge of the lake.  Jay uses a parabolic microphone.  He hears something in the water.  Jay calls them to say he saw something large come in and out of the water.  Nothing is caught visually, leaving the question of what made the noise in the mic. 

They hear noises from the ceiling.  They can't confirm if it's paranormal.  Zak walks on the stairs where Vincent was pushed/fell.  Zak provokes and says he hears a voice saying "get out."  When Aaron hears a door close.  They start to panic and feel as though people are around them.  Zak returns to the dressing rooms and set up an X camera beforehand.  Feeling negative energy there.  He feels something walked behind him when he films into the mirror.  He catches a floating anomaly in the mirror using the XLS.  Zak spots a green anomaly going through Aaron and then becomes a figure hovering over his head.  They go to where the figure by the circular window was captured.  DASANC device is used by Zak.  A female voice comes through says "trying" and then says "I just did."  After Zak asks it to speak again and a male voice asks, "how?"  The female voice speaks three words.  The device is thrown from the catwalk doorway but can't say if it's paranormal.  Where Billy sets up an X cam.  An anomaly grabs the handle.

When I watch this ep properly, I'll add more to this!   Okay so watched and not much to add so I didn't miss anything.

Ghost Adventures "Cecil Hotel"

 

Part 1 

Elisa Lam whose death was hailed as "accidental" by the LA County coroner, was changed and then changed back to accidental again, stayed in one of the rooms and her roommates booted her out cos they found her behaviour annoying.  Who needs roomates like that.  She was also bipolar.  Lift/elevator camera footage shows her acting erratically in there as though she may be hiding from someone, or confronting them and without anyone actually being seen.  Which could have been something paranormal.  She was found in the water tank on the roof of the hotel after guests reported problems with the water supply.  But the lids are heavy and couldn't have been lifted by her.  Although it has been said they were left open.  She could have accessed the roof via the fire escape as one Chinese user had posted a video of this being a possibility.  Her clothes were found beside her and it was unusual since why would she go all the way to the tower, climb the ladder and throw herself in.  And closing the lid. Whereas all the other suicides at the hotel involved people throwing themselves from the windows. 

There was a "sand-like particulate" found but if she was murdered first and thrown into the tank her lungs would not have taken the water in, unless she was still alive when the body entered the water.  A lot of discrepancies in the autopsy.  Also her phone wasn't found. Patrick, a former LA crime scene photographer, could not remain in the building when taking Zak around the hotel. 

Richard Ramiriz stayed at the hotel in 1985. Zak posits his devil worshipping rituals could have opened up a nest of demonic infestation.  Zak mentions the Korean Elevator Game and whether Elisa was playing this.  He plays it himself and he does what he isn't supposed to do as he doesn't read the instructions in advance.  Here he feels something ice cold.  The lift goes to the seventh floor without any button being pushed.  He feels panicked and the presence of unseen people around him.  

Zak got Michael and Marti to investigate and Michael was taken to the water tower where he felt a presence and that there was a pentagram.  Michael feels like someone put her there and she was dead before she went into the water.  He doesn't know if it was paranormal or not.  Marti sketched in Ramiriz's room, sketching three people.  Zak mentions names of people who died in the hotel.  

Zak unbeknownst to them placed two paintings of Ramiriz in the closet without telling them.  Michael calling Marti "killer" when he enters the room where she was sitting.  He takes them to Elisa's room and Michael says Richard says hello to him.  Zak also gets a scratch on his neck that Jay sees forming in real time and a bump by his eye, as though he had been punched or scratched. 

They hear disembodied voices as they head to investigate the 14th floor.  Zak talks to Elisa and tells other spirits to keep away.  He uses the Polterpod.  Telling the spirits to use their bodies and energy to communicate.  I didn't hear "Mia," I hear "I am here."  Also she says something like I was here?? when the male voice says her name "Elisa Lam."  Why would a male spirit say her name??  just curious since we hear a female voice too which is overtaken by the male voice. Her killer??

14th floor Rimiriz's room is investigated which some people could've affected Elisa.  A hissing noise is heard.  Aaron acts strangely and hears screams and noises the others don't.  The voices try to lead him away from them.  The paintings are removed and light anomalies are caught near Aaron's head. 

 Zak playing the Elevator Game originating from Korea, where it tells them not to interact with the woman entering floor 7, but he doesn't that as he hasn't read ahead.  (See above) But the lift kept going to floor 7 with Jay when he didn't even press the button.  Also with Zak too earlier.   Something touches Zak's hair.  Aaron asks if he likes the drawings and then says "thank."  Jay talks of blank spots on the camera and Zak takes the SLS camera to investigate.  The lift door opens and a figure stands by the door.  Which Zak says was also in the lift when he played the game.  

Jay tries to make contact with the figure and the lift opens next to him.   Aaron gets a response on the spirit box  SB7.  Zak hears a male voice, I hear "up."  He takes a photo and the man gets closer to him, a dark shadow.  Jay hits all the buttons in the lift.  He goes to floor 7 when he pressed 15.  A female voice says "hey" and I don't hear "is this Elisa."  Billy gets "presence."  Who killed Elisa? "Being."  What happened to Billy asking her to come with him, did that happen?? 

Billy gets "friend" on the Paranormal Puck 2.  It wants the "living"  "female."  He doesn't feel it's friendly.  "Me" wants a living woman for himself.  Zak states they were all annoyed with each other.  Police sirens are heard outside every 30 seconds.  There's evil in the building and it stays in there, messing with them psychologically. 

They have investigated elevators before re Aaron in the ep with that dark mass in the next room.

Cool Hunter the 2006 episode of CSI:NY had a woman's body found in the water tower of her apartment building.  Based on Dark Water which itself was based on real events where a woman's rotting body was discovered after being in there a week, whilst the residents used water from the tower.  Eerily this could be a foreshadowing of Elisa's own tragic death in 2013.

Part 2 

The Great Depression led the hotel into darkness and 18 deaths have been known here.  The Black Dahlia was seen at the bar three days before her death.  Scott Michaels, historian, takes them to the rooms.  704 was Helen Gurney's room.  She threw herself out of the window.  Zak feels the emotion from the deaths and how they have grown over the years.  Aaron takes readings on the Trimeter and Polaroid photos.  712 was Jack Untervege's room.  Obsessed with Rimiriz.  He hanged himself in prison.  Dorothy Purcell was in labour and giving birth, she threw the baby out of the window.  She was described as "temporarily insane."  Across from this room, Rimiriz had his room in later years.  

"Learn Pushed Pray Fire Arrived" are captured and a spirit leading Aaron to the fire escape where it was pushed.  Also the pounding on the door capture is what spooked Billy when he was in Goldie's room, Aaron, 'help me' could have been the spirit directing him to the fire escape??  Or was it one of Untervege's potential victims, but he was the only one who made contact with it, even though he killed the women in the room.  Billy gets Jack again when he asks who are you? on the Paranormal Puck 2.  

Z gets a possible poltergeist opening the tap in J's room.  As well as a voice on the APF device saying "Jack."  I heard "I'll be Jack."  SO how did Jack get into the US if he had already been convicted of murder in Austria as he would've had a criminal record, multiple convictions; even though he initially got in as a reporter for a story.  Still he shouldn't have been allowed in.  He killed three prostitutes and was convicted in Austria of murder when he returned.  He hanged himself in prison.  He had travelled to the hotel and stayed there in an attempt to emulate Ramiriz.  

Patti in the room senses the spirit of someone who jumped from the window as she opens the window in his room and doesn't know why she did that.  As well as sensing Goldie being attacked/raped, as well.  In Jack's room Zak asks who she was and hears "your mom."  Was there a dark figure outside of the room when he hears a noise outside.   There appeared to be something moving by the door at the far end of the hall, or was it the camera frames??  Aaron gets a twisty mist coming from the mirror when he sets up the experiment in the hallway with the two mirrors facing each other.  Did he construct a portal for the spirit to enter.  Light anomalies are picked up going into the LA hat and one goes into the Polterpod as he asks about her.

Patrick Langdon takes them into the various rooms and tells them about the suicides/murders in various rooms including the countless number of suicides.  Why choose a hotel to commit suicide in or was it something else that attracted them there.  The hotel didn't have a 13th floor?? as there wasn't a number on the lift button and when Jay was going through all the floors.  Zak hates lifts - does that stem from his experience at the Jerome Grand Hotel?? or has he always had it.

That shadow figure Zak captured near one of the rooms whilst investigating on his own was so apparent, you could make out the outline in a profile-like manner.  It came so close. 

Jay hears a crashing sound in the basement when they haven't investigated before.

That black mass/stain on the floor near Patti was ominous - did she feel something then and let's not forget the creepy apparition figure, that looked like a real man!!  At first I thought it was an actual man wearing a mask, he does look like he has one on though and that bald head, uh oh not a doppelganger for Aaron and also Aaron's name is the only name said out of all of them.  (Just a thought.) 

The Black Dahlia was also mentioned as she was allegedly seen drinking at the hotel bar in 1947, before her unsolved murder.  Even Goldie 'Pidgeon' Osgood's murder remains unsolved.   Best known for the serial killer, Richard Ramirez who engaged in satanic activity.  

Heck had this in my drafts for 6 months!!  WTH! 

Ghost Adventures "Lost Souls of the Berkeley"

The Berkeley steamship 1898 where multiple suicides took place, a murder and the victims of the San Francisco earthquake were ferried on.  The caretaker has seen spirits and also something dark lurking in the bottom of the ship.  The Berkeley was a ferry operating between San Francisco and Oakland.  They had the chance to investigate as its empty due to lockdown.  Zak mentions the film Ghost Ship and how the spirits came alive and the ship came to life.  A loud banging sound is heard, and also a voice, or was it an animal??  which is confirmed by Jim, the caretaker.  Hearing noises on the upper dark like furniture or a trunk.  He tells Zak they'll hear a conversation on the upper deck of the ship.  

13th January 1911, a mining engineer had nitro glycerine in his pocket and it exploded.  He appeared to be in a meditation.  January 1903 a man commits suicide due to unrequited love.  January 1908, a man jumps from the stern.  Was there something about that month.  The man in a Fedora has been seen as well.  A full embodied figure has always been seen, Jesus probably saw the Fedora man.  The Trifield jumps with EMF spikes.  They get a response "cake"  when asked what he's looking for.  The engine room is the most active and here Zak feels a cold presence and also a sharp pain in his back.  The engine room is where the greatest activity occurs.  Zak felt like all his clothes vanished and he was at Eastern State Penitentiary and the guards poured ice cold water on him.  He was sure something passed through him. 

Aaron and Billy in the engine room and in the same place, nothing came through on the Polterpod and a voice sounds like "let ya feel it."  Feel sounds like see??  Aaron felt freezing cold in the same place Zak did.  Pistol shrimp can be heard feeding in the water which was the popping sound.  Zak hears a woman's voice and people are heard walking around.  Was it residual?? A moaning is heard but the camera doesn't capture it.  "Kill" is also heard.  I heard "kissin'" as well.  Where the voices came through, compasses were contained inside and when opened, the activity stops.  An EVP on the recorder comes through: a shrill scream.  Any connection with the voice saying "kill."  Or the man jumping overboard.  The sound was captured when Billy was talking about the first moan they heard.  

Jay hears a voice, maybe saying "hello" and a coughing/deep breath sound in the boiler room.  Zak opens the water tight door as Billy tells him to do it.  He uses the DAS-ANC and a voice comes through, sounds like "show path"??  Both Zak and Aaron are drained of energy.  Zak has back pain again.  Jay tells him about the coal being shovelled there, same as what my sister said.  He climbs onto the catwalk and captures a stick figure.  Which then vanishes.  Can you hear us is asked and "heard" shows up on the Ovilus and a light anomaly shows up near Zak.  Aaron is sent to the ladies but we don't know if he got anything at all.  

Jay heads to the cafeteria and feels something on his hair, as a ball of light is seen behind him.  An anomaly is seen near the devices and Billy's camera battery is drained.  Jay says it's quiet and then something is heard to drop or is thrown.  

Funny in the Benson Grist Mil ep they heard bicycle, as my nephew just got one that same week and in this we just made cake and they get the EVP saying "cake"  yikes what kind of synchronicity was that?  Ha!
